No ifs, ands, or buts: IFCO Systems offers reusable plastic containers (RPCs) and pallet management services. Produce growers and distributors use the company's RPCs to move products from farm to point of sale; the containers are then collected and reintroduced to the round-trip system. Overall, IFCO maintains a pool of about 85 million RPCs in the US and Europe. In the US, IFCO also buys used wooden shipping pallets, refurbishes them, and distributes them to be used again by manufacturers and retailers.
