Company Description

ICE will suffice for ICE Futures Europe, formerly called The International Petroleum Exchange of London (IPE). A chip off the old ICE block, ICE Futures Europe is a subsidiary of US-based IntercontinentalExchange (ICE) and is an electronic exchange market for regulated energy futures and options in Europe. Products traded include derivative contracts based on energy commodities such as crude oil, refined oil (including heating oil and jet fuel), and natural gas and electric power. The exchange has transitioned from pit trading to electronic trade operations and no longer has an open-outcry platform. Its contracts are cleared through ICE Clear Europe, its London-based clearing house.
