Company Description
It's not a stretch to say Hyosung has become one of the world's leading producers of Spandex. Primarily engaged in textile production (its bread and butter is derived from nylon, polyester, and Creora-brand Spandex manufacturing), the company is also active in specialty chemical production, tire fabric, power and industrial machinery manufacturing, construction, and IT services. Since its start in 1957, Hyosung has grown into a global network of more than 30 overseas subsidiaries in China, Southeast Asia, Europe, and North America. It is also the largest Spandex manufacturer in China, having invested almost $300 million in its two mainland production facilities.
