Company Description

Howrey (formerly Howrey Simon Arnold & White) was one of the top law firms for litigating antitrust cases in the US, representing clients such as McDonnell Douglas (in its merger with Boeing), Nestlé, and Sun Microsystems. Howrey was recognized for its work in intellectual property cases and global litigation and offered legal, economic, and financial consulting services through its CapAnalysis affiliate. It had more than 600 attorneys in offices worldwide. Howrey was formed in 2000 from the merger of firms Howrey & Simon Arnold White & Durkee. However, burdened by substantial overhead expenses and too many offices that were not profitable, the partners of Howrey voted to dissolve the firm in March 2011.
