Company Description

Holophane lights things up all around the world. A company and brand of Acuity Brands, Holophane makes lighting fixtures and systems for industrial, commercial, and outdoor markets. Its largest product line, industrial fixtures, features lighting for vast indoor spaces (retail spaces, convention centers, factories, warehouses, etc.). Holophane also makes lighting products for large outdoor areas such as highway interchanges, and it offers commercial and institutional lighting for schools and offices. Its ISD SuperGlass prismatic lighting technology allows reflectors to cast more light. Holophane was founded in 1895 in London, and its founder helped start the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America.
