Its volunteers are organized into groups such as the 552 Club and Circle 1000. The groups host events like the Christmas Carol Ball and the Toshiba Senior Classic and encourage donors to make annual gifts, raising about $20 million annually. The Hoag Hospital Foundation was formed in 1948.
