Established in 1997, the world's largest manufacturer of smart phones is a hardware platform development partner with Microsoft for its Windows CE and Windows Mobile operating systems. Intel , QUALCOMM , Sony , and Texas Instruments are among HTC's strategic partners. Originally a contract electronics manufacturer, HTC has branched out into selling products under its own brand.
