The company, formerly Robotic Technology Systems (RTS), sold its RTS business to Entologi Limited late in 2010. RTS -- which developed and sold automation systems and software for a wide range of scientific and industrial processes -- had experienced several years of declining revenues. After the sale, Hephaestus Holdings became an investment company. It is looking for acquisition opportunities in the industrial technology sector in the UK. ITI Industrial Investments (UK) holds a 29% stake in Hephaestus.
