Company Description
After suffering several years of losses Hawtin is getting out of the property investment game. The company announced in 2010 that it planed to sell its remaining properties, including Millennium Plaza in Cardiff. The property market hit hard times during the recession and Hawtin struggled under the weight of debt. The 135-year-old Welsh company has been involved in a number of industries over the years, including engineering, distribution, and manufacturing. The next endeavor for Hawtin hasn't been nailed down quite yet. Hawtin was placed into administration in 2011.
