Protection and detection are the common themes at Halma. Through about 40 operating companies and three segments, Halma manufactures and markets products that are designed to improve public and personal health and manage water (Health and Analysis), detect hazards to protect buildings (Infrastructure Sensors), and protect people in industrial work environments (Industrial Safety). Specific products include medical optics devices, water quality test kits, fire and smoke detectors, elevator safety sensors, access control locks, and gas detectors.
