HNI invites employers to take a seat. The company manufactures office furniture, including seating, storage, modular workspaces, and desks. Its products are sold under brands, HON, Allsteel, Gunlocke, Maxon, Paoli, and Sagus, among many, to furniture dealers, wholesalers, and national office product distributors, as well as retailers, such as OfficeMax, Office Depot, and Staples. Office furniture generates about 80% of sales; the remainder is driven through HNI's Hearth & Home Technologies. The unit, one of the largest US makers of fireplaces for the home, operates under the Fireside Hearth & Home banner. HNI has distribution partners in 50-plus countries, but most of its products are sold in the US and Canada.
