Company Description
Turn on a radio in Mexico City and you'll probably encounter Grupo Radio Centro. The leading radio broadcaster owns and operates about a dozen radio stations serving the capital city with a variety of programming formats, including classic rock, contemporary music, and talk radio. The company also manages a couple stations outside Mexico City. In addition to broadcasting, Radio Centro provides syndicated programming and advertising sales to more than 100 affiliate stations through subsidiary Organización Impulsora de Radio (OIR Network). It runs about 20 audio production studios. The founding Aguirre family controls more than 50% of the company.
