Grupo Financiero Santander is the parent of Banco Santander Serfin, one of Mexico's largest banks after Bancomer and Citigroup's Banamex. The bank offers consumer and business banking and lending through approximately 1,100 branches across Mexico. It also provides property/casualty and life insurance, private banking, asset management, and brokerage services. The bank has some 8.5 million customers.
