Groupe Guillin has food all wrapped up. Each year the company makes more than 2 billion off-the-shelf packaging items for food products such as baked goods, produce, meats, and microwaveable meals. Groupe Guillin and subsidiaries Alphaform, Dynaplast, Guillin Emballages, and Nespak manufacture different types of plastic in various shapes and colors to produce plastic film and sheets, containers, trays, and disposable tableware. The company sells its products in Europe to food distributors, grocery stores, fruit and vegetable packers and producers, and caterers. Chairman and CEO François Guillin started the company in 1972 and took it public in 1989; the Guillin family still owns most of the company.
