The hospital is a major teaching affiliate of Yale University School of Medicine and offers a residency program in internal medicine. Greenwich Hospital provides a wide range of medical, surgical, diagnostic, and wellness programs including pediatric, maternity, and senior care. The hospital opened its doors in 1906 with 24 beds.
