Gold Canyon International is a multi-level marketer with 25,000 distributors selling candles, room spray, home decor, cleaning products, and skin care products in the US, UK, and Canada. Its "demonstrators" hold home parties where they show off the products and recruit others to join their business, created a chain where everyone gets a percentage of the sales made by those under them. It ships nearly eight million products per year. Gold Canyon International was formed in 1997 by CEO Curt Waisath and his wife, Karen, in their kitchen, where she designed the candles.
