Global Partners (formerly Global Companies) imports petroleum products from global sources, but its marketing is largely regional. The company wholesales heating oil, residual fuel oil, diesel oil, kerosene, and gasoline to commercial, retail, and wholesale customers in New England. A major player in the regional home heating oil market, Global Partners operates storage facilities at 23 bulk terminals, each with a storage capacity of more than 50,000 barrels, and with a collective storage capacity of 10.2 million barrels. It also owns and supplies a network of gasoline stations. Wholesale revenues accounts for the bulk of the company's sales.
