More than half of the ATMs it manages are owned by merchants, but Global Axcess does own around 2,000 of the machines. The company provides maintenance, cash management, and network processing services; it processes some 1.5 million financial transactions per month. Its machine network is concentrated in the South and East. In 2009, Global Axcess formed subsidiary Nationwide Ntertainment to operate self-serve DVD rental kiosks under the InstaFlix brand. It operates more than 500 of the mini video rental stores.
