About 90% of Wienerschnitzel locations are operated by franchisees. Galardi Group also owns Tastee Freez, a chain of ice cream stands, and The Original Hamburger Stand. Owner, founder, and CEO John Galardi opened his first hot dog stand, called Der Wienerschnitzel, in 1961.
