From Canada to Chile, passenger airline TACA (Transportes Aéreos Centroamericanos) bridges the Americas. The carrier serves about 30 cities throughout Central and South America and the Caribbean, as well as about 10 cities in North America. The airline operates a fleet of about 40 jets, nearly all of which are Airbus models, from hubs in Lima, Peru; San Jose, Costa Rica; and San Salvador, El Salvador. It maintains code-sharing relationships with carriers such as Iberia and United Airlines. (Code-sharing allows airlines to sell tickets on one another's flights and thus extend their networks.)
