GE SeaCo Services is a UK subsidiary of GE SeaCo SRL group, a 50-50 joint venture between GE and Sea Containers . The company provides primarily administrative services to its parent company, a worldwide champion in leasing marine containers. The container fleet comprises nearly a million twenty foot equivalent units (TEU) of capacity. GE SeaCo hires out to shipping companies refrigerated containers, tanks, flatracks, swapbodies (intermodal containers with enough width for two pallets, loaded side by side), and the SeaCell (overwidth containers with a standard ISO frame).
