The company, through subsidiary Shenzhen Fuqi Jewelry, designs, manufactures, and sells a wide selection of jewelry. Its product line consists of more than 30,000 items made from gold, platinum, diamonds, and other precious stones and metals. Fuqi markets its products domestically through its network of about 70 jewelry counters and stand-alone stores, as well as through about 900 wholesale distributors. In addition to its mass-produced fineries, the company offers custom-made gemstone jewelry. Founded by CEO Yu Kwai Chong, Fuqi International went public in 2007. Yu owns about 50% of the company.
