(Fuer International is incorporated in Nevada, and Chinese law prohibits foreign ownership since it buys seeds from state-owned farms.) Qiqihar Fuer Agronomy distributes corn seeds, rice seeds, soybean seeds, humic fertilizer, plant additives, pesticides, germicides, and herbicides to farmers in the provinces of Heilongjiang, Jilin, and Inner Mongolia. It has a network of more than 1,000 distributors and almost 50 retail stores and produces 50,000 tons of fertilizer a year. Chairman and CEO Zhang Li owns more than half of the company's stock.
