Company Description
The Fresnillo Group hunts for buried treasure throughout Mexico. The company focuses primarily on silver and gold mining, but also mines for lead and zinc. Its assets include four operating mines in Fresnillo, Ciénega, Herradura, and Soledad-Dipolos, as well as further development projects at Saucita and Noche Buena. Fresnillo produces nearly 370,000 ounces of gold each year and more than 38 million ounces of silver, making it one of the largest silver producers in the world; it also operates a variety of exploration projects.
