The little-known fifth hobbit? Swiss manufacturer Forbo Holding probably gets that all the time. But it's floors, not rings that Forbo is in to. Along with its vinyl, parquet flooring, and carpet tile products, Forbo manufactures more than 65% of the world's linoleum. The company also makes wall and floor adhesives and industrial adhesives used for automotive trim, paper processing and the shoe and textile industries. Forbo's belting business manufactures conveyor, drive, and processing belts used by the food industry, treadmill makers, and airports. The belts are sold under the Siegling brand. Forbo operates more than 40 manufacturing facilities in 35 countries around the world.
