With about 10 offices, the group provides general contracting, design, construction, and project management services for public and private projects in the US South, Midwest, and West. Operating under the Flintco and Oakridge Builders brands, its portfolio includes correctional and health care facilities, casinos, museums, schools, stadiums, and parking garages. Among the largest Native American firms in the US, the family-owned company is led by Charles W. Flint III. His father, the late Charles W. Flint Jr., founded the firm in 1950 as an outgrowth of a 1908 company owned by Charles W. Flint Sr. that supplied wooden derricks.
