Its products include motherboards, embedded computing systems, graphics cards, mobile handsets, PCs, and notebook computers. FIC also provides logistics services. The company works closely with such technology partners as AMD , Intel , Microsoft , NVIDIA , and VIA Technologies . First International Computer was founded in 1980 by chairman Ming Chien. In 2008 the company agreed to sell a 75% interest in its Everex Systems PC brand to NewMarket Technology ; in 2009 FIC closed its US-based Everex subsidiary.
