In addition to good old title insurance from its First American Title subsidiary, the company's financial services arm also provides specialty property/casualty insurance and home warranties through its First American Home Buyers Protection business. Its First American Trust offers banking and trust services to the escrow and real estate industries. Previously known as First American Corporation, the company spun off its real estate information services business and moved its remaining operations into its First American Financial business.
