Company Description
When it comes to automation, if you can't beat 'em -- Finuchem. The company makes robotic systems for underwater operations, such as minesweeping and laying cable, and for mechanical and industrial uses, such as appliance, automobile, and semiconductor manufacturing. Finuchem also makes high-tech composites used in race cars and medical equipment. The company sold its fine chemicals business and its grinding and mixing unit (Grenier Charvet), and is making acquisitions to strengthen its global standing in the automated food processing and aeronautics industries. The Gorgé family owns more than half of Finuchem. About three-quarters of the company's sales derive from France.
