Fidelity National Information Services (FIS) provides software, outsourcing, and information technology consulting for the financial services and mortgage industries. For banks and other financial institutions, the division offers software for lending, community and wholesale banking, customer relationship management, data management, and e-business. FIS was formed in 2003, when Fidelity National Financial (FNF) bought Alltel 's information services division.
