Company Description
Feihe International milks profits from Chinese cows. The company's Feihe Dairy subsidiary produces infant formula and milk powder primarily for infants and babies, although some products are aimed at students, the middle aged, and the elderly. It operates more than 200 company-owned milk-collection stations, about a half a dozen production facilities and manufactures about 1,250 tons of milk powder every day. Small independent farmers supply Feihe with raw milk under contract. Feihe Dairy's chairman and CEO Leng You-Bin holds 51% of the company's shares. Founded in 1962, the company changed its name from American Dairy to Feihe International in 2010.
