Its Graf von Faber-Castell line of premium fountain and roller pens sell for up to $800; a limited edition commands nearly $2,000. The company also makes artist-quality coloring pencils and pastels, as well as markers, technical drawing pencils, and products for children (crayons, pencils). Its products are sold in more than 100 countries. Faber-Castell has manufacturing centers in Europe, South America, and the Asia-Pacific region. Founded in 1761 as a pencil factory, the company is owned and managed by eighth-generation family member Count Anton Wolfgang von Faber-Castell.
