FTCA (formerly Fleetwood Folding Trailers) has been keeping outdoor campers happy since 1966. The company builds Coleman-branded camping trailers -- some 20 varieties of folding trailers including the Americana, Highlander, Evolution, and Destiny series. The folding trailers are an in-between shelter alternative for the tent and RV market. Far from roughing it, folding trailers are marketed to campers demanding the experience of a tent and the comfort of a home on wheels. FTCA also offers accessories, such as air conditioning, bed shelf, water heater, and shower. A subsidiary of Fleetwood Enterprises for over 40 years, FTCA was sold to Blackstreet Capital Partners, a Maryland-based private equity firm, in 2008.
