The company primarily specializes in robotics equipment, including injection-molding machines and robots that stack boxes and parts on pallets. Automotive industry customers include GM, Ford, Peugeot Citroën, and Volkswagen. Established in 1956, FANUC has a joint venture with General Electric in the US, GE Fanuc Automation, and operates subsidiaries in Asia, Europe, and North America.
