Each day ExxonMobil Pipeline, the oil and gas transportation arm of Exxon Mobil, transports about 3.5 million barrels of crude oil, refined petroleum products, liquefied petroleum gases, natural gas liquids, and chemicals through 8,000 miles of pipeline that runs through 23 US states, Canada, and the Gulf of Mexico. The company also provides engineering and inspection services. It operations are divided into nine logistical and geographical units.
