Company Description

Eurowings cooperates with four other small airlines to help Deutsche Lufthansa customers reach regional airports in European. The German airline flies passengers to more than 70 markets large and small throughout Europe as a regional affiliate of the airline giant. Eurowings maintains a fleet of about 40 aircraft. In addition to its scheduled service, it provides charters in partnership with sister company Lufthansa CityLine. The company sold subsidiary Germanwings, to Lufthansa in 2009. Eurowings was formed in 1993 from the merger of two smaller German regional carriers; it is now owned by Lufthansa.
