This link will open in a new window Epoch Holding is the holding company of Epoch Investments Partners (EIP), which manages investments for retirement plans, mutual fund clients, endowments, foundations, and other high-net-worth clients. EIP has approximately $6.6 billion of assets under management, including some $4 billion added since the beginning of 2006. Among its largest customers (about 15% of sales) is Canadian management company CI Investments, for which Epoch acts as subadvisor. Formerly known as J Net Enterprises, the company was once one of Nevada's largest gaming-machine operators and even tried its hand at Internet-based e-commerce before acquiring EIP in 2004.
