Company Description
EpiladyUSAÂ helps its customers keep their legs sleek and sophisticated. It makes and markets Epilady-branded epilators, as well as other hair-removal products. Popular in the 1980s, the Epilady hair-removal system created a hairy situation for its distributors because the product was reported to be painful to use. Sales dropped, and Epilady's distributors filed for bankruptcy in 1990. In 1997 a group of entrepreneurs bought Epilady's North American distribution rights. They developed the Epigirl -- a gentler system targeting 15- to 25-year-olds.
