EnviroStar (formerly DRYCLEAN USA) is anything but hard pressed. The firm franchises and licenses more than 400 retail dry cleaners in three US states, the Caribbean, and Latin America. However, most of its sales are generated by subsidiary Steiner-Atlantic, which sells coin-operated laundry machines, steam boilers, and other laundry equipment; most are sold under the Aero-Tech, Green-Jet, and Multi-Jet names to some 750 customers and include independent dry cleaners, hotels, cruise lines, and hospitals. Other EnviroStar divisions offer business brokerage and turn-key development of new dry cleaning businesses.
