"Drill it again, and buy some more oil and gas properties" appear to be operating guidelines for Encore Acquisition, an independent oil and natural gas company engaged in the acquisition, development, and exploitation of reserves in several basins. Operations include drilling in the Williston, Big Horn, and Powder River Basins of Montana and North Dakota, the Permian Basin of Texas and New Mexico, and the Anadarko Basin of Oklahoma. In 2008 it reported proved reserves of 185.7 million barrels of oil equivalent.
