Its LightPulse fibre channel host bust adapters (HBA) are used to connect storage devices in traditional direct-attached storage configurations, as well as storage area network (SAN) and network-attached storage (NAS) systems. Emulex also develops HBAs based on the Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) protocol. Emulex sells its products directly to OEMs and through resellers and distributors.
