Throughout history there have been plenty of notable Elliots: George, Cass, Missy... but none as important to southern New Hampshire as the Elliot Health System. The health care organization operates Elliot Hospital, an acute care hospital with nearly 300 beds. It is also home to the Elliot Regional Cancer Center, The Max K. Willscher Urology Center, and has one of only three Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Units in the state. In addition to general and surgical care, the hospital offers rehabilitation, behavioral health, cardiology, and lab services. The system also operates a physician network offering primary care services to nine towns in the southern part of the state. Elliot Hospital was founded in 1890.
