Healthwise, Eli Lilly hopes everything will come up roses for you. Best known for its neuroscience products, the company also makes endocinology (hormone-related), oncology (cancer-related), and cardiovascular medicines for a wide variety of ailments. Its top-selling drug is Zyprexa (schizophrenia and bipolar disorder), although patent rights for the drug expired in 2011. Other top-sellers include Cymbalta (depression, anxiety disorder, and other indications), Alimta (lung cancer), and Humalog insulin (diabetes). Lilly also makes erectile dysfunction medication Cialis and osteoporosis drug Evista; anti-infective agents; and animal health products. Lilly sells its products in some 130 countries.
