The company is a top green energy provider for retail customers in the UK, promising to match the prices of local suppliers in each area in which it operates. In 2012 it had 17 wind farms in operation (with 53 wind turbines, generating 57 MW of power) and several others in planning or construction phases. When its 16 facilities under development are completed, the company's total capacity (263 MW) will serve up to 184,000 homes, and save some 276,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions a year. In addition to wind power, the company is also developing solar power, tidal power, and food waste-to-gas facilities.
