Eckes AG is a family-owned holding company that controls European beverage maker Eckes-Granini. It markets a number of flavored juice drinks under the Granini label in more than 70 countries around the world; Eckes-Granini also owns several regional brands such as FruchtTiger, hohes C, Joker, and Marli. Eckes traces its roots to 1857 when Peter Eckes opened a distillery in Nieder-Olm, Germany. The company sold its international spirits division in 2007 to Oaktree Capital Management, which later formed Stock Spirits Group.
