Company Description
Eastern Environment Solutions has hung up the phones and turned to waste, in order to make more money. Through its China-based subsidiary, Harbin Yifeng Eco-environment (Yifeng), it is engaged in solid waste processing and consulting services. Yifeng provides non-hazardous municipal solid waste services in China's northeast provinces. It operates the Jin Jia landfill, which has a capacity of more than 7.8 million tons of municipal sold waste. Eastern Environment Solutions once owned, operated, and managed a network of nearly 400 payphones in New York and Pennsylvania. In 2006 the company changed hands (and industry focus) through a reverse merger with American Eco-Environment Corporation, parent of Yifeng.
