Automobile paint-and-body repair chain Earl Scheib owns and operates about 100 stores nationwide in more than 20 states. About half of the company's facilities are in California. Known for low-priced paint jobs, Earl Scheib stores also offer cosmetic body work, as well as glass replacement and pin striping. In addition, the company operates a painting and collision repair facility for large commercial vehicles in California, known as Quality Fleet & Truck Center. Earl Scheib manufactures its own paint at a plant in Missouri. In 2009 the company was acquired by San Diego-based investment firm Kelly Capital.
