Earache Records -- it's not just a label it's a promise. Specializing in extreme music such as grindcore, death metal, sludge, and industrial, independent label Earache Records is home to artists such as Cathedral, Godflesh, The Haunted, and Morbid Angel. The company has sold more than 8 million records and a number of its acts have gone on to sign with major labels. Although Earache records may have reached its apogee in the 90's, the label continues to push boundries in music while remaining true to its hardcore origins.
