Company Description
EXFO has the info on communications testing equipment for next-generation networks. Its handheld and modular testing platforms are used by telecommunications carriers, cable television companies, and public utilities to test and monitor wireline and wireless fiber-optic networks. Optical component manufacturers also use EXFO equipment to test their products. In addition to its off-the-shelf equipment, EXFO designs and builds custom testing products from its manufacturing plants in Canada, China, Finland, and the US. Its products are sold in about 100 countries, but the Americas count for more than half of sales. Founder, chairman, president, and CEO Germain Lamonde holds about 94% of EXFO's voting rights.
