ESPN RISE Magazine publishes RISE Magazine and RISEMAG.com, a sports and active lifestyle magazine for teens. Owned by ESPN, the print publication is distributed directly to 7,000 high schools. The magazine is displayed in areas such as cafeterias, hallways, and locker rooms. It has a readership of about 1 million, and has localized editions in the top 25 markets, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Philadelphia. ESPN RISE also publishes additional magazines such as Gridiron (covering high school football), Hardwood (for high school basketball), and GIRL (for high school female athletes), and produces events.
